New Signature Table Service Restaurant Coming to the Japan Pavilion at Epcot

A brand new table service restaurant is coming to the Japan Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot.

The new signature restaurant will get its inspiration from the natural beauty of Japan and will add to the rich balance of authentic cultural experiences available to guests in World Showcase. The setting will draw elements “from both nature and takumi, which means ‘artisan’ in Japanese, and the relationship between Japanese craftsmanship and the natural world will be evident throughout the space.”

The upcoming restaurant will be operated by Mitsukoshi USA, which operates the merchandise, restaurants (Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining), and kiosks that currently exist in the Japan Pavilion.

No expected opening date has been announced at this time.
