UPDATE 2/10/23: Disneyland has announced that the rest of Mickey’s ToonTown will not reopen until March 19, 2023 instead of the previously announced March 8.
As we’ve previously reported, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will begin welcoming guests on January 27th Inside the El CapiTOON Theater at Disneyland. The west coast version of the attraction is nearly a carbon copy of its counterpart at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World; however, when Disneyland’s version opens, it will not offer a standby line.
In order to experience the attraction, guests will need to join the complimentary virtual queue, which is only accessible via the Disneyland app. The virtual queue enrollment times will occur twice daily, at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. PT. Guests may also get quicker entry to this attraction with the purchase of an individual Lightning Lane arrival window, which is subject to availability.
IMPORTANT:
7 am: You must have a valid ticket and theme park reservation for Disneyland; you can confirm your party at 6 am and join the virtual queue at 7 am.
1 pm: You must be in Disneyland or DCA; you can confirm your party at 12 pm and can join the virtual queue at 1 pm.
The rest of Mickey’s ToonTown will reopen on March 8, 2023.
