Orlando’s Bonnet Creek Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Become Official Walt Disney World Hotels, with Benefits

Orlando's Bonnet Creek Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Become Official Walt Disney World Hotels The DIS Waldorf-Hilton

UPDATE 3/19/19: Guests who booked a Walt Disney World vacation package at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando can now link their hotel reservation on My Disney Experience, and with a linked, valid theme park ticket, these guests can utilize a 60-day booking window for FastPass+ selections.

Guests staying at these hotels with valid Walt Disney World theme park admission will additionally have access to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours benefits.

These hotel benefits are available now through December 31, 2019, and are subject to change without notice.

Walt Disney World has just announced the addition of Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando to their roster of official Walt Disney World Resort hotels. For future Disney vacationers this news is important for one major reason — Extra Magic Hours*.

Guests staying at official Walt Disney World Resort hotels get the benefit of additional theme park time in the form of Extra Magic Hours, select days when a park will open early or close late for those guests to get some park time beyond regular operating hours. This gives then an opportunity to experience parks and attractions with less crowding and minimal wait times.

Extra Magic Hours used to be confined only to on-property, official Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but has since been extended to the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin as well as Disney Springs Resort Area hotels.

For a full schedule of Extra Magic Hours available, head to our Extra Magic Hours page HERE.

You’ll find a full list of included hotels HERE.

Walt Disney World’s announcement did not reference FastPass benefits. Guests with reservations at Walt Disney World Resort hotels have the ability to book FastPasses up to 60 days in advance of their park day.

It is likely that their inclusion as official Walt Disney World Resort hotels would include this perk, but it has not yet been confirmed. We will update this story when we have more clarity on the FastPass benefits of staying at these hotels.

*Guests at these Official Walt Disney World Hotels must present an official voucher, which they may obtain at the hotel, and a valid Theme Park ticket to utilize the Extra Magic Hours benefit. Guests without the Park Hopper® Option or Park Hopper Plus® Option must use their ticket for admission to the same theme park where they would like to enjoy the Extra Magic Hours benefit.
