Ever since the Walt Disney World theme parks and Resort hotels began reopening back in July of 2020, the self-service refill stations for the refillable drink mugs have been operated by Disney cast members.
Today, one of our team members discovered that the self-service Freestyle machines located at Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort are among the ones that guests can now refill themselves once again.

This is going to be something you’ll need to check on as you go; however, as another member of our team visited Backlot Express at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and found that a cast member was still required to fill your drink cup for you.
This is just another sign of things moving back to the way they were prior to the outbreak of COVID-19.
