Guests visiting the newly reopened Epcot have discovered that The Epcot Experience is missing any evidence of the changes announced for Spaceship Earth or the Mary Poppins-themed Cherry Tree Lane project set for the United Kingdom pavilion.
The Orlando Business Journal has confirmed with Disney that the Cherry Tree Lane project is “on hold for evaluation.”
The Epcot Experience, located in the Odyssey Events pavilion, is a immersive look at Epcot, from before it opened to now and beyond, highlighting some of the future projects scheduled for the park.
While few details or a timeline had been released for Cherry Tree Lane, construction was to begin on Spaceship Earth on May 26…two months into the coronavirus-related closure. The attraction reopened today, along with the rest of Epcot, in its current form.
