The 2018-19 runDisney season is officially underway, and Disney is rolling out a line of specialty finishers’ medals to kick things off. With the 2018 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend fast approaching, Disney has revealed the medals ahead of time, featuring popular Disney chefs.
This year’s runners will receive awards that highlight Chef Louis from The Little Mermaid, Chef Tony from Lady and the Tramp, Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, Chef Linguini and Remy from Ratatouille and none other than Chef Mickey himself.
These medals celebrate Disney’s best chefs as a toast to the upcoming Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Find out which runDisney race you need to run to receive your favorite medal:
Disney Fall Feast 5k: Chef Tony and Lady and the Tramp
The Disney Fall Feast 5k is celebrating its second year by featuring the iconic Lady and the Tramp scene for all of its participants.
Disney Wine & Dine 10k: Chef Louis and Sebastian
Participants in the Disney Wine & Dine 10k can celebrate their finish with a specialty medal highlighting Chef Louis and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid.
Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon: Chef Mickey
Runners that push themselves 13.1 miles will meet a beautiful, Tuscan countryside-inspired Chef Mickey medal at the finish line.
Disney Two Course Challenge: Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast
Participants in this 19.3-mile-long total run can earn a Lumiere and Cogsworth medal upon completing the rigorous Disney Two Course Challenge.
runDisney Kids Races: Chef Linguini and Remy
The littlest runners can share the fun too by participating in the Kids Races. Children can win a fun medal featuring their favorite Pixar chef duo after crossing the finish line.
Limited spots are still available for the Kids Races, Ch’EAR Squad and Post-Race Party.
