In another step toward pre-COVID times at Walt Disney World, the EPCOT monorail returned to service over the weekend. The EPCOT monorail line has not been running since March of 2020 and has been sorely missed by Disney World guests.
The EPCOT monorail runs between the Transportation and Ticket Center and the front entrance of EPCOT. It’s great to have another transportation option for getting to the park now. Did you know that there are four modes of Disney transportation you can use to get to EPCOT? The Disney Skyliner and the Friendship Boats will drop you off at the International Gateway in World Showcase and the Disney buses and the monorail will put you at the park’s front entrance.
We should also note that the EPCOT monorail runs one hour prior to the park’s opening and one hour past the park’s closing time. As of the time of this post, the monorail station at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has not reopened.
We are excited to start seeing the EPCOT monorail running again!
