Palmas & Patina Restaurant Groups Lay Off Employees from Restaurants at Disney World

We’ve learned this morning that the Palmas Restaurant Group has laid off an undisclosed number of employees from their restaurants in the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT. Disney Confirms Permanent Closure of Primeval Whirl, Rivers of Light, & Stitch’s Great Escape

According to a post on Twitter from Disney Reporter Scott Gustin Thursday, Disney has announced that two Walt Disney World attractions and one nighttime spectacular would be closing for good. Worldwide Theme Park Attendance Grew 4% in 2019, Disney’s Numbers Dropped Slightly

While attendance at the largest theme park companies in the world was up 4% in 2019, Disney Parks saw a drop in attendance of 0.8%. Disney did, however, hold on to the top spot for theme park companies and individual theme parks. Spaceship Earth Changes and Cherry Tree Lane Project Missing From The Epcot Experience

Guests visiting the newly reopened Epcot have discovered that The Epcot Experience is missing any evidence of the changes announced for Spaceship Earth or the Mary Poppins-themed Cherry Tree Lane project set for the United Kingdom pavilion.
