Beaches and Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to be Closed for Several Months

We’ve learned that Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be closed for several months this fall to undergo renovation. The popular restaurant will close in early August and is expected to reopen in December. Chef Wenbo Zhang is visiting the Epcot International Festival of the Arts this year from Henan Province in China to share his skill in the traditional Chinese edible folk art of Sugar Painting and handcrafting Dragon’s Beard Candy. These candy arts both date back thousands of years, with the technique passing down through the generations through apprenticeship programs.
