Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park to Close March 7, 8, and 9 Due to Cold Weather

UPDATE 3/8/18: Blizzard Beach will also be closed on Friday, March 9 due to a cold weather forecast. The park is scheduled to reopen to guests on Saturday, March 10. Walt Disney World Might be Developing the Old River Country Site According to Permits Just Filed

According to permits filed on March 5, 2018, Disney is looking to “conduct [a] geotechnical investigation to assess the suitability of subsurface soils” which, in non-technical terms means that they are looking to get permission from the state to drill and evaluate the soil conditions at the River Country site.
