5 Quick Packing Tips For Walt Disney World

Packing for Walt Disney World is overwhelming. There are plenty of suggestions on how to pack effectively online, and I highly suggest checking out the disboards.com to ask people in detail how they pack effectively for a Walt Disney World vacation. To give you a head start here are 5 quick tips to help you pack your suitcase for a Walt Disney World vacation.

5) Bring A Large Plastic Bag For Dirty Clothes

After a long hot day in the parks, your clothes are going to be sweaty and gross. Throwing them in a large plastic bag will keep the smell of your sweaty clothes to a minimum. It is also beneficial to have a divider between your clean and dirty clothes at the end of your vacation. There might be some clothes you don’t end up wearing, and so by separating them from the dirty clothes, you can keep them clean in your suitcase. Tucking this plastic bag into a corner of your suitcase will not take up much room, but will be extremely helpful to have for your vacation.

4) Tie A Colorful Bandana To Your Suitcase

There are hundreds of black and blue suitcases that come into Orlando International Airport. It is easy enough for someone to mistakenly pick up your suitcase and walk away with it. If that happens you are going to without a change of clothes for the entire vacation. This is why tying a colorful bandana to your suitcase is important. The more unique the bandana the better. Bandanas are cheap, so tie two or three if you feel you need too. The cost of these bandanas will certainly be cheaper than the cost of replacing your suitcase, and everything inside of it.

3) Pack A Sweatshirt

It sounds silly to say that you will need a sweatshirt in central Florida, but you’d be surprised. In January, February, and March there are some chilly days that you will wish you had brought a sweater for if you choose not to bring one. Unless you are visiting in June, July, or August there is a chance you may wish you had one at night at least one of the days your visiting. Plus, what is the harm in packing one? Yes, they take up a good amount of room in your suitcase, but it is well worth it considering buying a sweatshirt in the parks will most likely cost you over $40 dollars.

2) Pack Two Bathing Suits

Between the resort hotel pools and the two theme parks, there is a good chance you are going to use your bathing suit more than once at Walt Disney World. Unfortunately, with Florida’s humidity your bathing suit usually won’t dry overnight, so if you want to have a fresh dry bathing suit for consecutive days of swimming then you’ll want to pack an extra bathing suit. There is nothing worse than having to pull on a wet bathing suit from the day before, and packing another bathing suit doesn’t take up that much room.

1) Leaving Extra Room In Your Suitcase

There is a lot to bring to Walt Disney World but try to under pack as much as possible. In fact, try and keep some extra empty space in your suitcase. At the end of your vacation, you’re going to want that extra space. Souvenirs take up a lot of room when packing everything back into your suitcase. Additionally, after a long tiring week in the parks, you’re not going to have the energy to fold up everything nice and neat. You’re most likely going to want the luxury of just shoving everything in a quickly as possible, and having that extra space will allow you to do so.
