There are plenty of “you won’t believe this” moments at Walt Disney World, but this one crosses a line most people didn’t even think needed to be said out loud. We’re filing this one in our “just when you thought you’d seen it all” and “Five People You Don’t Want to Be” files.
A TikTok video posted by @itsedwinlv is making the rounds after showing a guest getting out of a Kilimanjaro Safaris ride vehicle at Disney’s Animal Kingdom… to urinate in the bushes. Not backstage. Not in an emergency area. Right there. In the middle of the attraction. In full view of other guests, including children.
The video already has thousands of reactions, nearly a thousand comments, and a flood of comments that range from stunned to outright angry. It’s honestly hard to watch without thinking the same thing: what on earth was this guy thinking?
@itsedwinlv So this happened today at Animal Kingdom during the Safari Ride

This Isn’t Just Gross – It’s Dangerous
Let’s get past the obvious for a second. Yes, it’s inappropriate. Yes, it’s uncomfortable for everyone around him. But the bigger issue here is safety.
Kilimanjaro Safaris is not a slow-moving ride through fake scenery. It’s an open-air vehicle traveling through real animal habitats. Guests are told repeatedly to stay seated and keep their arms inside the vehicle for a reason.
Getting out is not just against the rules. It’s risky. For the guest, for the cast members, and for the animals.
And when something like this happens, operations don’t just shrug and move on.
The Ripple Effect Is Huge
Former cast members in the comments didn’t hold back. One former attractions worker explained that an incident like this can trigger a full stop of the attraction.
We’re talking:
- Vehicles halted across the savanna
- Guests delayed or evacuated
- Animal safety checks
- Operational resets before reopening
That’s not as quick of a fix as you might think. That’s a major disruption that affects hundreds of other guests.
All because one person couldn’t wait.
Guests Aren’t Having It
The reaction online has been swift and harsh.
Some commenters called for a lifetime ban. Others pointed out how uncomfortable the situation must have been for nearby families, especially kids who were just trying to enjoy the ride.
One of the comments that stood out mentioned a child telling the adult to hurry. Seriously, that says everything right there. Even that kid knew it wasn’t okay.
And then there’s the bigger frustration. Fans are tired of seeing unacceptable behavior like this creep into Disney parks. It breaks the trust that these spaces are safe, respectful environments for everyone.
Let’s Be Real for a Second
Lines at Walt Disney World can be long. We all know that. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan.
But this isn’t a gray area.
You use the restroom before you get in line. If it’s urgent, you leave the line. You do not exit a ride vehicle in the middle of an attraction to handle your business.
That shouldn’t need to be written into the rules, but yet, here we are. Perhaps Disney should consider adding public urination to their property rules?

Should Disney Go Further?
Disney already has a section of guest courtesy rules, but moments like this raise a fair question. Should something this basic be spelled out more clearly?
Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior, jumping lines or saving places in lines for others.
Because while most guests would never even consider doing this, it only takes one person to disrupt an entire attraction and ruin the experience for everyone else.
At the end of the day, this isn’t just about one bad decision. It’s about respecting the space, the people around you, and the safety systems that keep these parks running smoothly.
And if that sounds like common sense… it is.
