The newest color collection to hit the Disney parks and resorts is inspired by Disney’s hit movie, Frozen, and is called Arendelle Aqua. In addition to all of the sparkly merchandise items in this collection, we have also been gifted with several aqua colored sweet treats to enjoy. I set out today in hopes of trying a few.

The Arendelle Aqua Victoria Sponge Cake can be found at Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK pavilion in Epcot‘s World Showcase. This treat sells for $4.29, and it was simply delicious.

The sponge cake halves form a buttercream sandwich of sorts, with a dollop of strawberry jam placed right in the middle. This dessert is light and moist and is generously sized. The buttercream was dense and thick and it paired nicely with the light consistency of the cake. The Arendelle Aqua Victoria Sponge Cake is topped with edible glitter (a running theme with all things Arendelle Aqua), and the glitter shone like freshly fallen snow in the sun. This treat was not too overly sweet, and will appeal to both young and old alike.

The next Frozen themed treat on my list was the Arendelle Aqua Cotton Candy Éclair at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. As is common with choux pastry, the éclair shells were nice and crisp on the outside, and contrasted well with the cotton candy flavored pastry cream and raspberry curd that was sandwiched in the middle. The éclair was topped with a hard sugar glaze, edible glitter, crunchy sugar sprinkles, and a sugar snowflake. This treat sparkled in the Florida sunshine.

Keep in mind that this is not an elegant dessert to eat. The soft consistency of the pastry cream does not stand up to the heft of the shells and tends to squish out, but, as long as you have napkins handy, this treat is a great one to satisfy your sweet tooth. I found myself wishing that there was more raspberry curd in the middle, but, all in all, the éclair was beautiful, and the taste lived up to its looks. The éclair is available for $5.99.

My fellow DIS team member, Steve Porter, had the opportunity this morning to try the Arendelle Aqua Cone from Storybook Treats in the Magic Kingdom. Steve loved this Frozen concoction (pun intended; I couldn’t resist) as cotton candy flavored soft serve is a personal favorite of his. Steve mentioned that the flavor of the Arendelle Aqua Cone was even better than what he usually gets at a local ice cream shop, although he knows that that might be due to the thought that all treats taste better in the Magic Kingdom. The cone is dotted with Mickey shaped sugar cubes, and is topped with cotton candy sugar. Steve said that guests should be aware that this cone starts melting quickly, so, in this case, fortune favors the fast. Eat it swiftly. The cone is sold for $5.99, and, in my opinion, is completely Instagram worthy.

I also wanted to try the Arendelle Aqua Cake from Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, but, unfortunately, the cake will not make its debut until October 4th. I’ll try to be patient.

One last note: if you’re looking for any of the Arendelle Aqua merchandise items, Mouse Gear in Epcot’s Future World currently has a great selection. Glittery Crocs ($54.99), sequined Loungefly backpacks ($90), sparkly Walt Disney World tumblers ($22.99), aqua-colored Minnie Mouse phone cases ($39.99), and more are all on display, and are ready for purchase.

Is there an Arendelle Aqua treat that you have your eye (or sweet tooth) set on?
