The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is happening now through February 24th where Figment is undoubtedly the host with the most. In addition to finding him everywhere in the Festival of the Arts merchandise collection, there is an entire venue dedicated to Figment; Figment’s Inspiration Station.
Figment’s Inspiration Station is located in the Odyssey Pavilion on one of the pathways from World Discovery to World Showcase. Most notably, this space is where you can find the ever-popular Figment popcorn bucket which features a new design for each year of Festival of the Arts.
The space features plenty of seating and additional high-top tables with Figment wall art and projections from some of his past iterations from Journey Into Imagination with Figment. Figment’s Inspiration Station also features a very colorful menu including craft beers also available as a rainbow flight and two photo-worthy desserts.
Raspberry Pastry Tart – sugar cookie with raspberry and lemon cream cheese filling – $5.00
The buttery texture of the tart reminded me of the Lunch Box Tarts available and Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios. This is a high compliment from me! The buttery cookie with the sweet raspberry jam pairs perfectly with the tart lemon in the cream cheese filling. The filling was incredible, but I do wish there had been more of it. Either way, this is definitely one of the best sweet treats from Festival of the Arts!
Rainbow Cake – topped with Skittles freeze dried candy – $5.25
There’s no doubt the rainbow cake is beautiful and perfectly prepared. However, I was shocked by how tasty it was, too! The cake is dense and moist (yeah, I said it), plus the buttercream frosting is the real deal and proportioned just right with the layers of cake. Freeze-dried Skittles just taste like pure sugar, but hey, it’s a cute garnish!
Figment Premium Popcorn Bucket – with rainbow popcorn – $28.00
The good news for Figment fans is that the popcorn bucket is well-stocked even a few weeks into the Festival of the Arts! To purchase a Figment popcorn bucket, you must place a Mobile Order for it in the My Disney Experience app, where it’s labeled “EPCOT Souvenir Release.”
Who knew Figment was also quite the pastry chef? Especially considering how little he keeps in his fridge! Definitely stop by Figment’s Inspiration Station for a sweet treat during Festival of the Arts!
