It’s a new year of festivals at EPCOT, and the International Festival of the Arts is in full swing January 12 – February 19, 2024. Festival of the Arts (FotA) is often a favorite with Disney fans because it offers something for everyone and highlights a wide range of Disney movies throughout the park. It almost goes without saying that this festival is especially a favorite of Figment fans because he is EVERYWHERE at EPCOT right now! So, let’s take a look at the 2024 highlights!
Colorful Ambiance
The Festival of the Arts offers something new to look at throughout the park. The photo ops put you in the middle of famous works of art and are scattered throughout World Showcase. While many of them are returning this year, there are some new Disney versions, including Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, and Wish. I have a special place in my heart for Mary Poppins, and I was thrilled to see this new addition!
There are also many FotA magic PhotoPass shots available and each of the character meet and greets feature their own work of art.
Additionally, the Odyssey Pavilion has been turned into Figment’s Inspiration Station and offers Instagram-worthy rainbow treats and drinks along with the infamous Figment popcorn bucket. Speaking of the popcorn bucket, if this is a priority for your visit, be sure to place a mobile order for it as soon as you get to the park. This iconic popcorn bucket will set you back $30, but dare I say, would be a great addition to your Disney decor!
What I loved most about Figment’s Inspiration Station; it offers plenty of seating with fun photo ops. This is a great spot to take a break inside!
Imaginative Food and Beverage
I LOVE the food studios at FotA! Not only are the offerings visually stunning, but the taste and value do not disappoint. Most of the 2024 menus are returning dishes, but this is a positive for me… don’t fix what isn’t broken! I spent so much of my day eating and have so many other dishes I can’t wait to come back and try. It’s been said before, but since these dishes are works of art, please be patient and allow extra time in line at the festival kiosks. Bless these Cast Members for their attention to detail!
Deco Delights – Neapolitan Desert Trio $5.25, Espresso Martini $12
Goshiki, Japan – Sushi Donut $8.75, Wagyu Bun $9.75
Refreshment Port – Gnocchi Poutine $10
Pop Eats – Tomato Soup with Pimento Cheese, Bacon, and Fried Green Tomato Grilled Cheese $6.50
Entertainment Offerings
Maybe my favorite part of FotA is the ability to enjoy something new every visit. Between the amazing art you normally can’t find at Disney and the festival entertainment, I find myself enjoying taking my time at Disney! Even as a toddler parent, I find my son enjoying World Showcase more than ever.

Of course, the highlight has to be the Disney on Broadway performances at the American Gardens Theater. During our visit, we had the opportunity to see Patti Murin and Caissie Levy; the original Anna and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen on Broadway, perform. Their performance included songs from Frozen and many other Disney on Broadway shows, such as “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan. Cue the tears!
If you have an opportunity to visit the 2024 Festival of the Arts… do it! It’s such a wonderful time of year at Walt Disney World with comfortable weather and often low crowds. FotA will likely become your favorite EPCOT festival!
