The walls are down in between Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land, revealing an unannounced new seating area. While the theming of this area fits within Batuu, it is oddly close to Toy Story Land, which arguably always needs more seating and more shade.

The new area is a good-sized space with plenty of bench seating, bar seats, and table to enjoy a snack. Perhaps the new Pizza Spring Rolls from Toy Story Land? This area between Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land is pretty expansive and right now only features this seating area and a Disney PhotoPass Magic Shot location.

This is also near where the temporary seating was for Woody’s Lunchbox was during its recent construction. It really is a great addition for a flex space that’s a little more peaceful than Alien Swirling Saucers just across the way. With the openness of the space, maybe they’ll be able to add umbrellas before the summer sun and storms get here.

Hopefully this is a sign Disney is considering more spaces for guests to sit and enjoy the park! With all the changes happening at Hollywood Studios, the open lands and their attractions will likely only get more cramped during peak busy seasons. If anything, the park could only benefit from more additions like this one and the new Toy Story snack location. With the closure of Mama Melrose’s and PizzeRizzo, additional food locations, especially unique options, would really go a long way. Woody’s Lunchbox often has a 30-minute wait for Mobile Order, validating the need for more Quick Service options this side of the park.

Be sure to let us know in the comments what you think about all the changes happening at Hollywood Studios! We’re definitely in for a few years of historic construction.
