I’ve had the chance to ride TRON / Lightcycle Run twice now, and I don’t think it’s in my number one spot, but it is definitely in my top three. I have a list of my favorite roller coasters in Orlando, and every time something new opens, I have to shuffle and rearrange it. The minute I got off the ride, I said, “this is definitely in my top three,” which is shocking because I am not a massive fan of the TRON movies, but the ride is just great.

I’ll be honest, I was nervous while waiting in line, but I get like that anytime I’m about to ride a new attraction. The seating and the attraction’s outdoor section made me anxious because I didn’t know what to expect. Once I sat down and was securely locked in, I felt a bit better.
The launch was so amazing. I felt like I was flying over Tomorrowland and was blown away once I entered the show building. One thing I did was avoided any videos of the ride because I didn’t want any spoilers. I wanted to be completely surprised, and I was. That was the best thing I could’ve done because I had no idea what to expect, but it was fun and unique. I don’t want to spoil it for any of you, but the lighting and technology there are pretty cool.
It was a short ride, but I didn’t think it was too short. I actually thought it was the perfect length for that type of attraction. Overall, I think it is a great attraction, and in terms of intensity, I think it’s along the lines of Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad but way faster. Anyway, let’s get to my list.

Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
