Today marks the grand opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets and the new Walt Disney Studios Courtyard. A new guidemap has debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, reflecting the latest additions to the park.
Two new experiences officially opened today, May 26:
- Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! – A 20-minute interactive stage show starring Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto, featuring original songs and audience participation. Eight daily showings run from 10:15 am to 5:10 pm.
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets – The high-speed inverting Sunset Boulevard coaster, now reimagined with a Muppets theme.
- The Walt Disney Studios Courtyard – A studio-lot-inspired outdoor space complete with character handprints and statues, vintage signage, and production-themed details.

Inside the map, the “Let Your Adventure Begin” section highlights the two new attractions that officially opened today, May 26. The page also spotlights Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, the My Disney Experience app, Roundup Rodeo BBQ, and several shopping locations.

Hollywood Studios’ updated guidemap and digital map reflect the newly-reimagined Animation Courtyard, with the Walt Disney Studios courtyard now woven into the park’s overall layout. The Animation Courtyard section highlights the new Baby Care Center and three attractions: the newly-added Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! (also featured on the map’s front cover), The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, and Walt Disney Presents.

The former Magic of Disney Animation (and later Star Wars Launch Bay) building is noted on the map as a future home for the attraction by the same name.
The new Magic of Disney Animation building is slated to open later this summer and will include:
- Olaf Draws! – An Animation Academy drawing experience hosted by an Audio-Animatronics Olaf
- Enchanted Art Gallery – An art space where Disney characters come to life from the walls
- Once Upon A Studio Theater – A dedicated screening room for the Emmy-winning short film
- Drawn to Wonderland Playground – An indoor play area inspired by concept art from Alice in Wonderland
- Off the Page! Character Meet-and-Greets – Featuring Mulan, Rapunzel, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Donald and Daisy, Goofy, and Stitch
Over on Sunset Boulevard, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets has taken the place of the Aerosmith version, complete with a colorful guitar and limo marquee.
