This summer, Disney California Adventure celebrates the addition of two new themed areas, plus a new nighttime dance party.  Disneyland Park welcomes back an old favorite and Magical fireworks return.

Cars Land Opening 06/15/12

 

This 12 acre expansion to Disney California Adventure features Cars-themed restaurants, shops and three new attractions, including Radiator Springs Racers.

Buena Vista Street Opening 06/15/12

Formerly the Sunshine Plaze, Buena Vista Street will be a salute to Los Angeles as it was in the 1920s and 1930s when Walt Disney arrived in California and will include shops and restaurants.

Matterhorn Bobsleds Returning 06/15/12

The classic Disneyland attractions returns from a months-long rehab, with a new paint job, new ride vehicles and a single rider line.

Magical Fireworks! Returns 05/04/12

Disneyland Park - Celebrating Disney stories and Characters to a new soundtrack. Characters including Peter Pan, Mary Poppins and Pinocchio become part of the magic. Also joining the celebration is 'Dumbo' the flying elephant which makes this summer fireworks show a must see and even more magical than ever.

	Review of the 'Magical Fireworks' We were very surprised to be at Disneyland the night of the first soft-opening of 'Magical', Disneyland's new Summer Nightastic Fireworks show in 2009. The new soundtrack includes songs from Mary Poppins (my personal favorite), Peter Pan and Pinocchio as well as some original music made just for this production. Nothing was more surprising (without giving too much away) as Dumbo the Flying Elephant! It truly brought out the ooohs and awws from the crowd as well as a few tears from the die-hard Disney Fans (OK, so I admit it!). Mad T Party Begins 06/15/12

Disney California Adventure presents the Mad T Party, featuring live bands, dancing, unique entertainment and fun-filled games, plus exclusive signature foods, beverages and merchandise all inspired by Tim Burton's "Alice In Wonderland".
