Traditionally,
the 4th of July fireworks at the Magic Kingdom
include an enhanced presentation featuring patriotic
music themed to spectacular pyrotechnics that
ring through the park.

ANNOUNCEMENT: On July 3rd, over 1000 people will officially become United States citizens during a naturalization ceremony at 8:00 a.m. in front of Cinderella Castle. To keep with the "What Will You Celebrate?" promotion at Disney parks, the new citizens will be treated to a special preview of the recently updated Hall of Presidents.

California Grill - Special July 4, 2009 Independence Day dinner.
They will be serving summer lobster rolls, fresh sushi, boneless St. Louis style pork ribs, Black Angus strip steaks, sweet corn, summer salads, a variety of desserts, and other dishes. The dinner will also have a DJ, fortune teller, magician, and strolling entertainment. You will have a great view of the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios fireworks.
Cost for adults and children is $220(includes tax and tip).

Downtown Disney
There will be no fireworks at Downtown Disney in 2009.
***Please note these days are some of the busiest of
the year. If you are visiting a theme park
during this holiday, you should arrive early
and expect to stay for the remainder of
the day.
Historically, the parks do reach capacity
and guests will no longer be able to enter once this occurs. Having a dining reservation will not
get you into the park once it is closed.
If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you are guaranteed entry to a theme park, but not necessarily the one of your choosing. Again, get to the park early and plan on making a full day of it.
