November - December 2015
2015 Information - As Downtown Disney transitions into Disney Springs, "Holidays at Disney Springs" will include many popular favorite holiday traditions. The toy soldier stilt walkers, Snowflake performers, a Kwanza Celebration, Hanukkah medleys, holiday entertainment, specialty foods and festive decor will all return. Santa will be back, but will be located in a new area across from Ghirardelli Ice Cream Shop.
New additions will include holiday photo backdrops in the Marketplace and West Side that are made to look like pop-up greeting cards. Three new holiday trees will be on display and will be unique to Disney Springs.
Each of the three districts at Disney Springs will all have unique holiday decor. The Marketplace will be decorated with trees and wreaths that are homey and handcrafted. The Landing will have a more industrial feel and the West Side will be all blue and white.
At Disney Springs you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season. Window shopping takes on a whole new meaning as you enjoy the wonderful holiday displays celebrating traditions from different cultures.
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
At the Marketplace, you'll find Santa Claus waiting to greet you at his chalet across from Ghirardelli's ice cream shop. You can take your own pictures or use PhotoPass (these photos will be included if you have purchased the Memory Maker package). You will get a pager if the wait exceeds 30 minutes (or you can choose to receive a text message instead). Return to the podium within 10 minutes for your turn to meet Santa!
Throughout the Holiday season, you'll find school choirs performing at the Dock Stage as well as DJ Dance Parties.
Strolling musicians and Toy Soldier stilt walkers will also add to the holiday festivities.
