Magic Kingdom

Easter Bunny Meet and Greet

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny through April 16, 2017.


Town Square area - Magic Kingdom admission required.  PhotoPass photographers will be available.

Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade will take place at 12:00 and 3:00pm daily.  On April 15 and 16, the Azalea Trail Maids will be in a pre-parade before the Festival of Fantasy parade.

Photo Opportunity with Cinderella’s Carriage


From April 12-19, guests can take their picture with Cinderella’s Carriage! The carriage will be located in New Fantasyland, near the castle walls, and Enchanted Tales with Belle. A PhotoPass cast member will be available to take pictures for this limited time event.

Special Easter Treats


At the Main Street Bakery, a special vanilla cupcake with vanilla buttercream, topped with an “Easter bonnet” sugar cookie sandwich, filled with jam, coated in white chocolate will be available.

Easter Egg Hunts, Basket Toss and Egg Relays

These free Easter activities combine the fun of an old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt (ages 3-9), with the fast-paced excitement of an Easter Egg Relay (ages 8-12.) A smaller egg hunt area will be provided in a separate garden for children under 3 years old.

Egg Hunts: Every 10 minutes from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Egg Relay Races: Every 40 minutes after the hour, from 11:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.
Easter Basket Toss: Continuous in the United Kingdom gardens

Guests can check in at the Easter Basket podium in the United Kingdom up to 30 minutes before each hunt and relay. Space is limited.

Meet Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will show off their Easter finery as they pose for photos and sign autographs. Continuous from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.


The Egg-stravaganza is back this year and is currently available at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival now through May 29. As a part of this scavenger hunt, Guests can search for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney characters and record their discoveries by placing the corresponding sticker on the specially themed map to represent that location. Maps and stickers can be purchased for $5.99, plus tax, at Pin Central in Future World, Disney Traders at the entrance to World Showcase, or World Traveler at International Gateway.

Special Easter Treats

You’ll find two specialty cupcakes at Epcot. Fountain View has a chocolate cupcake with marshmallow filing, buttercream frosting bunny feet and a tail. And at Sunshine Seasons, a chocolate chip cupcake is filled with chocolate-caramel mousse, topped with buttercream, crushed chocolate cookies and jelly beans.


Disney Springs

Build a Custom Easter Basket at Marketplace Co-op at Disney Springs

The team from Disney’s Floral and Gifts will be set up and ready to help you create a custom Easter Basket with items you purchase from any of the shops throughout Disney Springs who have fun Easter items available. For example, The Ganachery will have four flavors of foil-wrapped eggs, a salted caramel bunny pop and adorable milk and dark chocolate Easter bunnies.

Whether you’re looking for a traditional basket with sweets and toys or a more sophisticated basket with items from Pandora for example, the possibilities are truly endless. You can even surprise your little princess with a customized Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique basket!

Pricing for the vessel and wrap start at $9.99. White Easter Baskets, like the ones pictured above, are $29.99, not including the products inside. Delivery to any Disney Resort hotel is included in the pricing.

The custom Easter Basket building service will be available through Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017.

2017 Easter Services

Walt Disney World will be celebrating Easter with religious services on Sunday April 16, 2017 at the Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia Ballroom.

The schedule for services will be:

Disney strongly recommends that resort guests staying at monorail resorts use the monorail or watercraft to get to the Contemporary.  All other resort guests should use WDW resort transportation to MK and then transfer to a shuttle bus (available after 7:00am) which will take you to the Contemporary. The Contemporary, Polynesian, Grand Floridian parking lots will be operating with parking restrictions.

Decorated Chocolate Easter Eggs

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa


Beautiful chocolate eggs are sculpted, painted and ornately decorated by the talented pastry teams at each of the Disney resorts. These beautiful works of art will be on display in the Grand Floridian lobby through April 29th.


Special Easter Treats

Disney’s Contemporary Resort - Contempo Café

Two specialty cupcakes will be available. On April 16th, a special Easter cupcake will be available; coconut cake is filled with chocolate cream before being topped with banana buttercream frosting, white chocolate shavings and jelly beans. A Carrot Cake Cupcake with white chocolate filling and cream cheese buttercream frosting, garnished with toasted coconut and carrot powder will be available until April 29th.

Disney's BoardWalk Inn - BoardWalk Bakery

The BoardWalk Bakery will offer pink or blue bunny macarons through April 16th.

2017 Special Dining for Easter

Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet

Animal Kingdom Lodge - Boma - Flavors of Africa

7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Easter Sunday


The buffet will include peel and eat shrimp, mixed green salad, watermelon tomato salad with blue cheese, soup du jour, butternut squash soup, hand carved lamb shoulder, zebra domes, mini cheesecakes, plus the traditional breakfast offerings. Each paying adult will get one mimosa.

1900 Park Fare Easter Sunday Brunch

Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

12:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m., Easter Sunday

The menu will include featuring omelets made to order, Hickory Smoked Ham, Herb Roasted NY Striploin, a Breakfast Burrito Bar, and much more. Price is $37 for adults and $22 for children. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Paddlefish Easter Sunday Special

Disney Springs - The Landing

11:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., Easter Sunday

For $52 per person, guests can enjoy their Easter Special – Dover Sole Roulades (Crab & chourico stuffed, fiddlehead ferns atop mango beurre blanc) and for dessert, Opera Cake (Layered chocolate & espresso cake with a milk chocolate glaze). The chef recommends to pair it with Grgich Hills Fume Blanc for $16 per glass.
