Disney’s Hollywood Studios Experiencing Power Outage

UPDATE 8:02pm: Star Tours-The Adventures Continue has reopened.


UPDATE 7:45pm: Slinky Dog Dash has reopened. Star Tours, Toy Story Mania, and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are still closed.

UPDATE 7:40pm: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has reopened.


UPDATE 7:29pm: Attractions are being tested and some have reopened. Alien Swirling Saucers currently shows a 15 minute wait.


UPDATE 6:51pm: Today’s problem at Hollywood Studios appears to have started with the cooling system, which forced the closure of most rides and attractions.

Star Wars: Launch Bay and Muppet-Vision 3D remain open.

A Walt Disney World spokesperson says that “park operators are working to fix the issue as quickly as possible.”

The park is still open.

According to several sources, including a Cast Member that contacted The DIS directly, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is without power.

All attractions and much of the park is closed.

There is no further information at this time, but we will continue to follow the story.
