Tom Staggs, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, has given Walt Disney World President Meg Crofton a new position as president of operations in the U.S. and France. She will now oversee
Disneyland and Disneyland Paris, in addition to her current duties as president of Walt Disney World. "Meg's strong leadership abilities and broad experience make her the perfect person to lead resort operations in our established markets in the United States and Europe," Staggs said.
Staggs also promoted Karl Holz, President of
Disney Cruise Line and
Adventures by Disney. He will now oversee
Disney Vacation Club as well. Both Crofton and Holz, who used to report to Al Weiss, president of worldwide operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts until he
recently stepped down, have also been added to Staggs' executive committee.
