Downtown Disney Car Masters Weekend celebrates the hit series "Cars"

On May 13-15, Downtown Disney will be the hosts of a new event celebrating the popular Disney-Pixar film series, "Cars". Downtown Disney Car Masters Weekend is the perfect place for families to get their "Cars" fix before the newest film "Cars 2" comes to theaters June 24. There will be meet and greets with old favorites Lightning McQueen and Mater, as well as the newest "Cars" character, Finn McMissile. Other activities will include games, a video kiosk and photo opportunities.

If you need to brush up on your "Cars" trivia before the sequel comes out, the AMC Pleasure Island Theatres will show the original "Cars" film all weekend. RIDEMAKERZ will unveil new "Cars 2" models, available for guests to design and customize. For guests not into the cartoon version of automobiles, dozens of classic cars will be on display, showing the history of how the cars we know today came to be.
