Disney Cruise Line to sail out of Miami?
by Leah ZanollaJan 15, 2012
Disney Cruise Line has announced a press conference to be held next week regarding strategies for 2013. This announcement has the Disney Internet community discussing the possibility of the Cruise Line basing one of their ships in South Florida in the near future. Disney recently canceled several of their Mexican Riviera itineraries, leaving the Wonder's calendar open at those times. Speculation is that Disney would find a new home for the ship in Port Miami, which is close enough to Orlando to make a trip to Walt Disney World still a viable option for families before or after their cruises. Disney Cruise Line is not confirming any of these rumors, however in not denying them, they are actually giving the rumors more credence.
Update 1/17/12: The press conference has been postponed, but no date has been announced.
