Disney Fantasy begins sea trials

The Disney Fantasy, the sister ship of the year-old Disney Dream, left Papenberg, Germany on January 20th to begin her sea trials ahead of an anticipated early February release to Disney Cruise Line. While the ship's maiden voyage won't take place until March 31st, it will be the first Disney ship to be christened in New York City at a March 1st ceremony. Through 2013, the Fantasy will sail 7-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
