Disney Fantasy ship is vandalized

The Disney Fantasy, Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, was vandalized earlier this month while at the German shipbuilding yard, Meyer Werft. According to German media, on December 9, 2011, several water valves were left open, causing damage to 40 cabins. Damage is estimated to be around one million euros, or 1.3 million dollars.

Float out for the ship is still scheduled for January 7, 2012, and the maiden voyage will take place March 31, 2012.
