It's the time of year that Disney fans hate the most - the annual raising of ticket prices.
Disneyland has announced that their ticket prices will be rising tomorrow, Sunday May 20. Depending on what kind of ticket you are purchasing, you will be looking at an increase anywhere from $7 to $150. A one-day ticket will go up 9% from $80 to $87. The $150 increase will be on the premium annual passes, up to $649 from $499. This is a 30 percent increase, a substantial amount for guests to take on at once. The pricing increase comes right before
Cars Land, the newest addition to
Disney California Adventure, opens on June 15. Disney spokeswoman Suzi Brown said, "Like all business, we periodically evaluate and adjust our pricing structure to ensure we are offering a great entertainment value."
