SeaWorld's Aquatica will be sponsoring a Polar Plunge on Saturday, February 2, as a fundraiser for Special Olympics Florida. Polar Plunge participants ask people to sponsor them as they run into the waters of Aquatica's wave pool, which has been iced down for the event. Each participant is to raise at least $100, which will in turn gain them all-day admission to Aquatica, an all-day food pass, Polar Plunge T-shirt and two spectator passes. The Plunge will happen at 11:00 am with registration beginning at 9:30 am.

If there are people who want to participate without physically Plunging, they can do so with a "Virtual Plunger" option. For more information about the event, visit http://www.sofl.org/.
