Guests with food allergies will now be able to eat safely at SeaWorld and its sister parks. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment will now offer "a line of allergy-friendly dining initiatives." Jim Atchison, President and CEO of the company, said, "We serve millions of guests each year and are committed to provide each a great experience. For families with allergen concerns, we understand how challenging it can be to safely dine out, especially while on vacation."

Guests will no longer have to worry that their food may have come into contact with an allergen; instead they will work together with staff on making it safe. These guests will fill out a "Chef Card" with their allergen information, which a chef will review before preparing the meal. Other options are being added, such as gluten-free pizza and allergen-free chocolate bars shaped like Shamu.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment owns 10 parks across the country, including Busch Gardens and Sesame Place.
