Despicable Me rooms to open at Universal's Portofino Bay Hotel

This fall, the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando will be opening eighteen kids' suites themed around the popular Despicable Me film franchise and their theme park attraction, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. Available beginning October 1, the suites will bring children right into the movie and the bedroom of Margo, Edith and Agnes. The beds are shaped like missiles, there are goggled-eyeballs on the curtains and images of minions all over the walls.

Despicable Me 2 comes out in theaters on July 3, which will no doubt only add to the popularity of these suites. Guests at Universal's on-site hotels receive Early Park Admission and free Universal Express Unlimited ride access.
