Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 2024

Notes We had the room that joined with 2026. The room was excellent and when the door was opened felt so big. There was a loud banging noise early on the mornings we were in port. It was about 5 am and it sounded like they were moving big metal things below us. It is close enough to the stairs that it was very convenient. We used the stairs as the midship elevators are always busy. Close to Enchanted Garden too. It is close to the gangplank to get off the ship. We may or may not choose this room again.

Notes Loved this cabin! Right across from forward elevators so no long halls to walk to reach our cabin. Very convenient to the Route 66 adult area, Walt Disney theater and gift shops just 1 or 2 floors above. Despite being close to the elevators it was a quiet room. We heard zero noise from the lounges above. Single steamer trunk which holds a lot of stuff! We would definitely book this cabin again.

Notes Quiet- even though it is right near the landing for stairs and lifts. Good use of space. Good location! Has a single steamer trunk.

Notes We were pleasnatly surprised by the cleanliness of this room given the age of the ship. Most everything was in good working order. The refrigerator was a little difficult to open because a hinge was in the way. This is an oceanview room that easily sleeps 4. It also has a single steamer trunk. It is very convenient to the Edge Club as well as the restaurants on decks 3 and 4. We love the forward elevators as they are not terribly crowded. We could hear the thrusters when we were docking. One morning and one night a few days later there was terrible banging like someone was dropping heavy boxes that shook the wall. We reported it, but it did not stop. We never figured out what that was, we assumed this was a fluke and not normal for this room. Other than that, it was very quiet and a great location.

Notes Excellent Room. Really enjoyed the location as the Enchanted Garden was on the same floor and most of the other restaurants and theatres were within a 2 floor walk. Never had to wait for an elevator due to line ups as it was the first floor for the ride. Same floor as the Detective game. Overall quiet but did wake up once or twice a night due to a large bang or rolling noise. Couldn't tell if it was below or above the room and asked the steward to look into it but couldn't figure it out. It happened most nights but overall not a big deal. Adjoining room to 2026

Notes Category 9 staterooms are narrower than categories 8 and higher. This is most noticable between closet & bath doors, and end of bed & wall. Split bathroom had adequate space. Room was extremely quiet with the exception of hearing random noises from the work deck below. (It sounded like something scraping across a rail...like dry cleaning being pushed along a rack.) It was not too bothersome, and only happened a couple times during the night. But would definately wake an extremely light sleeper. Very convenient location to Enchanted Garden & stairs/elevator. Nice & close to self launderette.

Notes This stateroom was conveniently located to the Walt Disney Theater and the club. Also to the stairs and elevator. Very quiet with an extra wide hallway outside. Plenty of room. We really enjoyed it.

Notes Noise was not a problem. Forward location close to lifts made it easy to get to the shows. Enough room for Mom, Dad and two girls (9 and 12).ramkam
