Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 2638

Notes Extremely loud. Most noise of all of the rooms I have stayed in of 10 cruises on the Wonder and Magic. Was just above the thrusters, which woke us up each time we can into port, including 4 times on the last night as we docked to disembark. Was were the luggage and supplies were brought on board, so noise from that. Heard loud music from the crew area below. NEVER will stay in this room again. We had the connecting 2640 for this cruise as well, and while that was slightly quieter, the rating is the same.

Notes There is some noise and vibration when the aft thrusters are used (while docking or positioning) as well as when supplies or luggage are loaded/unloaded. It wasn't enough to wake us from a sound sleep, but definitely impossible not to notice if you were awake. Everything was in good working order, with the exception of one of the desk drawers sticking a bit when you close it!

Notes **BEWARE**This is a connecting cabin. We did NOT know this ahead of time - NO sound proofing. Our neighbors were 3 VERY loud children and the parents thought if they were louder and used foul language, it would help the situation. We changed cabins within hours of boarding.

Notes Oceanview window in the aft of ship. Could hear loud clanging when slowing down / preparing to dock. Very convenient to deck 1 disembarkment doors. Assigned to Animators Palate for muster drill! The room had a smell of old, dirty, or soiled clothes or linen upon entering which remained the entire cruise. Drawers and closet doors were broken and unusable forcing us to keep most clothes in suitcases for the duration. More than enough room for 3 persons!

Notes We were very pleased. Below dining. Accessible to many things. We did hear engines the first night. A constant droning, that did not keep us awake, but might bother others. The rest of the trip was quiet, except for the cute propeller clock! The ticking kept us awake!
