Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 5001

Notes I would not recommend this stateroom for 3 reasons. 1) It's located very close to the theatre speakers. The day we decided to skip our dinner and rest in the room was impossible to sleep. There was a percussion show that night and many things in the room were literally moving or vibrating. 2) There was a bad smell in the bathroom. We told the stateroom host and Guest Services about it but, even thouugh they tried to fix it, the problem was not solved by the end of our cruise. 3) It's a sideways cabin which makes you feel it's a bigger stateroom but also it does not have split bathroom so it's not convenient when everyone wants to take a shower and get ready for dinner at the same time.

Notes The room was very quiet. The only issue was when a magnet on a cabinet door came off and it constantly swung open. Maintenance came in and repaired it for us. We were barely in our room on the Alaska cruise, so we didn't spend much time in it other than sleep, but when we were in there it was comfy and quiet and dark. We enjoyed it!

Notes We really liked this room. Because it sits "sideways", it seemed larger than usual. One slight downside is that you do hear everything going on in the Walt Disney Theater, which is one floor down. Usually was not an issue.

Notes The room itself was better than I expected. The "sideways" set up allowed for a lot of space for 2 people. The shower head leaked and made a mess on the floor everytime, but I left a comment about it on the end survey. The room host was on top of everything!! The room was loud during shows in the theater but we didn't spend much time in there during that time.
