We loved this room. It's the last room of the ship. No noise from other passengers in the hall. The room has a larger balcony than other rooms. We absoluty loved the view of Nassau and Castaway Cay. It's very close to the elevators and stairs and very close to two of the restaurants. A very quiet room with nice views. The only downsite of this room was that we didn't have a transparant verandah. It was metal so you had to stand to sea things. We didn't mind.

This is going to be our new go-to room on the Fantasy (or Dream) for sure! It's considered "aft", but it's more or less the first room in the aft section, so it's closer to mid; that said, the aft stairs and elevators are super close, and the mid stairs and elevators aren't too far away.
The balcony is HUGE; unlike most 4E balconies, this one is big both width and depth. The one trade-off is that the balconies on deck 5 basically look straight down into yours, but this was never an issue for us.
No excessive noise, or shakiness.
Being one deck above the Europa area and two above Animator's Palate and Royal Court was a huge plus. Ditto for being so close to Oceaneer's Lab/Club.

Perfect room, very convenient to dinning rooms, movie theater, Europe. Six floors up into Cabanas.
Bit noisy sometimes but within limits.
Perfect vieuws due to the HUGE VERANDA, don't believe the comment of “Pepe’s door”. Never heard anything. Loved the room.

The biggest complaint is that there is a very large camera that is mounted on the side of your verandah which is first of all simply intrusive but also is an obstruction to your view. I would not stay in the room again simply because of the camera - it was bothersome to know there is a camera right outside the window (it points to the side of the ship - not to the inside of the room).

As has been reported, this is a standard size stateroom with a huge verandah. Perhaps one of the largest! Its about 3 times as wide and deep as a normal verandah. Unfortunately its also a noisy location as its just off the kids area. So there is a tradeoff. At some time they added Pepe's door as well even though we never heard any knocking. I would recommend this room if you spend a good amt of time on the verandah. We also experienced a sewer odor in the bathroom during the duration of the trip. Complained but nobody every came by. It was contained as long as you kept the door bathroom door closed. If you don't mind hallway noise, then this is a great room, with quick access to the aft of the ship and food areas.

This is the worst stateroom I have stayed in on the 9 DCL cruises I have taken. ALL of the noise from the halllway makes it way into the room, from kids running & screaming up & down the hallway between the Aft elevators & the kids club. The noise is out of control & you can hear all of it when you are in the most inside part of the room. Forget taking any naps or going to bed before midnight or 1am. The verandah is ginormous, however we had to pick up food from verandahs above that had been thrown downward. Also, the wall on the one side is shared with Pepe's door that the kids knock on for The Muppets Detective Agency activity.
If having a SUPER noisy room is your cup of tea, this is the room for you. If however you want any respite from the rest of the ship, you should avoid 5150 through to the stateroom that is in front of the elevator lobby. This area is THE most highly trafficked area on The Dream. I was so thankful that our cruise was only 4 days - 1st time ever that I was ready to get off the ship.

Was it noisy...well was when Captain stepped on the gas...had a lot of vibration at that time as well but he was trucking at like 28 knots trying to beat a storm I think...otherwise when sailing at normal speed was nice and quiet. This was first time AFT..usually do midship midship verandah(10 Disney cruises) ...What I really liked about it was everything was right above me or below me....There was a outside camera between my verandah and the one next to me and was worried it would bother me or block my view but it was fine and didn't freak me out after all. I am sailing again same itinerary in Oct and tried to get that same cabin ...even though I am already booked deck six midship verandah....but it was already taken. The white verandah did not bother me either...I was sailing with my son and he said the vibrating was going to drive him crazy that one night and that he could not sleep...5 minutes later he was out like a light. If you have any questions feel free to look me up and I have photos as well. If on the Dream or Fantasy would not have done Aft because the length of the ship but on the Wonder or Magic would take that cabin again no problem...also the veranda is a bit bigger on one side due to the angle of the ship. Oh and the Theater is like right there as well.

Great room. Larger than avg verandah. But we sailed when it was cold so we didn't use it much at all. Would have liked a transparent verandah wall instead. Previous review stating noise and rumbling was only when docking. Otherwise a very quiet room. I did like the location as it was near the Theater.

This room was the first room in the hallway, which I enjoyed because it was easy access but some people might not prefer that. Since it was the first room, we only had one neighbor. On the Disney Dream, you don't have the door on the opposite side like on the Fantasy, so we did not hear random knocking like some people did on the Fantasy. Overall the room was very quiet. It is a Deluxe Family Stateroom but is the size of a regular stateroom. It did not have the Murphy bed but the verandah makes up for it. The verandah was almost as big as the room! Overall this stateroom was amazing!

This room was incredible. It's the last room of hallway and we never heard any noise from other passengers. The room has a larger balcony than other rooms. There is no steamer trunk, but unless you have a party of 4 or way overpacked, there was plenty of drawer and closet space. It was very quick to the aft elevators and the restaurants. A very quiet room; some people have made comments about it being loud from the engines, but we honestly never noticed the sound at all except when pulling in/out of ports...but by those times we were either almost out of the room or at breakfast/dinner!

This was a very nice room with an amazing verandah! We would book it again despite a couple of minor annoyances that may be deal-breakers for others.
Some notes:
-This is NOT a Family Stateroom; it only sleeps 4 and does not have the extra space like the 4D-4A's have. It has a regular (small) bathtub instead of the round tub, as well.
-The kids' clubs are right around the corner. I could clearly hear people in the halls until just after midnight (when the clubs closed). I'm a night owl and my kids/DH sleep like rocks, so this was not a problem for us.
-Great location for families with kids who visit the clubs often. It was a snap to pop in and have the Mickey band removed or retrieve a forgotten craft. And the aft elevators are very near, with easy access to Animator's Palate, Royal Court, Cabanas, Palo/Remy, and the pool deck.
-Pepe's door is adjacent to the forward wall (behind the desk) of this room. On our cruise, kids knocked on Pepe's door (this room's wall) all day and well into the night. Basically, whenever there was a kid walking down the hallway, there was someone knocking on the wall. It was bad enough on the last night that I went out to see why kids were out there unattended at midnight. It was the parents making all the noise.
-You won't see much of CC on the port side.
-The verandah was double-wide and double-deep, making it a perfect playground for my kids. They could run around and work off extra energy there!
-There were vibrations from the thrusters/stabilizers/whatever (sorry, not a nautical engineer : ). They didn't bother me, but they were constant the first and last night and whenever the stabilizers were engaged (on rougher seas). I found them relaxing, but a light sleeper probably wouldn't. There was also some sort of machinery noise outside right next to our room near the lifeboats that made leaving the verandah door open for any length of time not an option.

Loved this room! The veranda is huge! There is a lot of foot traffic as it is the first stateroom past the kids clubs, but with the door closed, no noise could be heard from the hall.

Stateroom 5150 is the last aft guest stateroom on the port side of the ship. I was very disappointed with this stateroom for the following reasons:
1. The verandah flooded every time it rained.
2. There was no steamer trunk in the room so storing clothes for an entire week is difficult.
3. Loud, loud, loud engine noises and vibrations.
While any room on a cruise ship is better than a day at the office, I would not recommend this stateroom.

Extremely noisy stateroom while sailing. Especially during the trip back to Port. Behind the closet wall, there was a loud rumble and low bass sound (a few moments where the entire room would shake), enough to keep you up all night.
It's one of the last rooms on the back of the ship. No traffic noise, but far from the Quiet Cove Pool.
Great view of the city of Nassau.
There was a larger balcony, but the bottom half is metal. You won't be able to see the ocean unless you look over the railing.
Overall, I would not recommend this stateroom.
