Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 5530

Notes The extended balcony is really nice. The cabin itself is a little shorter than a standard cabin. If you are 6 feet or taller you won't be able to stand straight up in the shower. This is a real big pain. You also hear the music and bass from the theater on deck 4. But that usually doesn't go much past 9:30. I would recommend against this room if you are tall.

Notes Cruise was in 2023, not 22, but 23 n/a on drop down. Very nice room. Extended veranda. No noise at all. Sleeps 3. Convenient to theaters. Bit of a walk to aft where Cabanas and Europa are, but didn't feel too far. Would absolutely book this room again.

Notes No pull-down bunk. Heard no noise from the adjoining room and didn’t feel much movement even though the room is forward on the ship. The extended verandah (with reclining lounge chairs!) was great, but know that there is no privacy on the part that extends beyond the normal verandahs. The kids clubs, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and the Buena Vista Theater are all on deck 5 so there’s no direct way to get to the starboard side from the midship elevators. Very convenient to the forward elevators, which are less busy than midship.

Notes Sleeps 3 with couch bed and queen bed (no pull down bunk). Nice extra large balcony. This cabin connects with 5532 and the balcony divider between the two cabins can be opened. Nice quiet location. Closest laundry room is up one floor on deck 6 forward. Easy to get to theaters and shops.

Notes Great Room! This section of forward deck is very quiet. Never heard any outside noise in room. Deck 5 is lowest deck with verandah; consequently, verandah is twice as long as other decks. Lots of room to stretch out when we ate breakfast outside in the morning. Very close to Forward elevators, and convenient to mid-ship elevators, that overlook lobby/Royal Palace. Pleanty of room for 2 adults and a 7 year old.
