Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 6122

Notes Noise: - every couple hours or so, there's a muffled mechanical whirring noise for 20sec that we heard in the evening past 10pm. (we usually won't stay in the room during the day to notice; either outside or on balcony. Not sure what it is, it's non-waking, but does sound like a service elevator - since it's VERY close to the elevator, you'll get other family yelling across the hallway to their members or kids once awhile, even at 11pm; or couple families discussing for over 3min about their next day plans; and some kids running down the hallway; again, non-waking noises, but something to be aware of Convenience - VERY convenient for a family with kids, few floors up for cabana, 1 floor down to movies, 2 out of 3 dining restaurants are at aft - be aware it's not that close to laundry room - port side = Alaska cruise best side; at least with my sailing, LONGEST time viewing the glacier from balcony; Ketchikan whole town view; Vancouver viewing the water; not so much for Juneau or Icy point straight as it's not facing the port for my sailing - 2A 2young kids are just ok with luggage storage, so can't image if you are with 2A and 2 teens; all of us kept hitting BOTH corners of the bed, so be mindful walking around the end of bed - it's a connecting room, so you WILL hear something from next door

Notes Cabin 6122 is aft on the port side just outside the elevators. This location is convenient to Topsiders, The snack bars on Deck 9 and Mickey Pool. The restaurants Parrot Cay, Animators Palate and the Promenade lounge all were close by. The cabin is set up so that when you enter, the split bathroom is to the left. A family of 4 (mom and 3 teenage daughters) it is a little tight. Storage for suitcases under the bed worked, but a little crowded with the GIRL things! Everything was in working order except on the last 2 nights the bunk bed started to make creaking noises. Feel free to contact me by PM through DISBoards for any specific questions or photos.

Notes I love this room!! close to the elelavators, easy number to remeber. Plus it is a connecting room. I book this again in 2006.
