Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 8574

Notes Very close to mid-ship elevators and NEVER heard a sound from the elevators. Found verandah's noisy though (an in general comment,not 8574) has the ceiling bed for a 4th passenger. Castaway Cay view. We had 2 people and the space was plentiful. Mid ship location was great! (Easy to get to pool decks by stairs, restaurants by elevator.) A laundry on deck 8 which was nice. I would stay in this room again without hesitation. Loved being close to the elevators and was surprised there was limited noise from foot traffic.

Notes LOVED this room!! the location was perfect... just seconds from the Mickey Pool, drink station, topsiders, goofy's galley...very quick to Parrot Cay, Animator's Palate, and the Buena Vista Theater. When we noticed other parts of the ship feeling movement, we did not notice it in the room. The verandah had wonderful views of Key West, Castaway Cay, leaving PC, and other ports. We are a family of 5 with 3 children 8 and under and we never felt cramped. It was just enough. The only noise to report was right outside the door is a room to the heating unit for the pool and sometimes when they would turn it on it would make what we can only describe as a 'duck calling' noise. LOL I asked our stateroom host about it one morning and he offered to see if they could do something about it, but all the staff was so wonderful and it didn't bother us enough for him to go out of his way about it. When we sail the Magic again this is the room we will go for!

Notes Perfect Location! 3 room doors to the elevators/stairs - one fly of stairs and we were at the beach blanket and the drink fountains! It took me 2 minutes to bring any food or drink to the room if kids were cranky. Also 2 minutes to the kids (mickey's pool). We asked for an upgrade and got this 8574, LOVED the room. Spacious perfect for 2 kids (6 and 3) and 2 adults. Plenty of storage for clothing and stuff. Verandah door had a lock out of reach for the kids (gave me peace of mind as kids could not open to go to the verandah). Enjoy room service breakfast at the verandah! Great view of arrival and departure form Castaway Island from the verandah. No noise at all. Will go on the same room in a heartbeat! LOVED the cruise.

Notes Great room! Very close to the elevator, but no noise from it at all. Didn't notice much noise at all from deck 9. Very convienent to drink station on deck 9. I would book it again.

Notes Room 8574 on Wonder was great! It was not noisy at all. We heard a few chairs being stacked and scooted on Friday night, but that's it. We stayed in the room more than we thought. It was located aft starboard-awesome view of Castaway Cay and there was no view really to be had at Nassau. It was about 8 steps from aft elevators-perfect!Space was good, not very much room for 6 pcs Lg luggage. But our fam. of 4 (me,dh,dd3,dd7) did great. Couldnt feel much movement at all except Fri. pm late. The verandah was ideal to watch the land as you sail away from Port Canaveral-you can watch the small boat come along side the Wonder and see the Port Can. ship pilot jump from the Wonder to the small ship-those watching cheer! the ship horn sounds several times & sings"when you wish upon a star"-AWESOME!Get it on video-you will remember it forever! You can request feather pillows & a new clean comforter if you are a clean freak. Shower had plenty of room-i was surprised!

Notes We loved this room! We were surprised how big it was and the verandah was great. Very close to the elevator, but no noise from it. I really expected it to be noisy being right under deck 9 with the pools, but it wasn't. I would book it again.
