New restaurant coming to Adventureland
A new restaurant will be opening this winter in the former Adventureland Veranda area. "Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen" will be home to the "World Famous Jungle Cuisine" and will be broken up into several different themed rooms. One will be themed like a crew mess hall and one will be a once-hidden secret meeting room for the famous Society of Explorers and Adventurers. The restaurant proprietor is Alberta Falls, daughter of Albert Falls from the Jungle Cruise. The Jungle Cruise Skippers will be the servers, so guests will surely be in for a laugh along with their dinner. The menu will feature dishes inspired by the cuisine of Asia, South America and Africa.
No word yet on if the location will be quick service or table service or if the Disney Dining Plan will be accepted.
