Disney Cruise Line now allows pre-booking of character experiences

Disney Cruise Line is now allowing guests to pre-book select character experiences for their sailing. Guests can reserve times for two character meet and greets and if applicable, a character breakfast as well. Choices are a Disney Character Breakfast, Princess Gathering, or a Frozen Meet & Greet.

The Disney Junior Character Breakfast is presented on 7-night or longer sailings with at least 2 days at sea departing from U.S. domestic ports. While appearances may vary by sailing, typically Jack, Sophia and Doc McStuffins are part of the Disney Junior Character Breakfast.

VIP Characters appear on 7-night or longer sailings with at least 2 days at sea departing from non-domestic ports (including Alaskan itineraries). On most sailings VIP Characters will include Mickey Mouse and his pals Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Pluto.

14-night transatlantic and Panama Canal sailings feature a Character Breakfast with VIP Characters (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto).

Previously, guests had to go to the Port Adventures desk once onboard to make these reservations.  To book, you will need to access the “My Cruise Plans” portion of the website and search each day for the available times.

Concierge guests will have their reservations made for them if they are interested in participating.

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
