Which Disney World Rides are CLOSED in April?

Are you heading to Walt Disney World next month? You should know there are a few popular attractions that won’t be open! Attraction downtimes are common at the parks; whether it’s for a few moments or hours worth of a ride delay, or an extended period for attraction maintenance and repairs. If you’re planning on visiting the most magical place on earth next month, here are the four major attractions currently scheduled to be down for the month of April.

Magic Kingdom

– Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed in January of this year, and will reopen sometime in 2026 with some “extra magic”.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

While It’s Tough to Be a Bug closed permanently on March 17th to make way for a new Zootopia show debuting later this year, there are no other Animal Kingdom attraction closures scheduled for April!

Thankfully, besides this April 2025 closure list, there are another 70 or so attractions to enjoy at Walt Disney World. Which one are you most excited to experience again soon?
