The famous Walt Disney quote is, “Disneyland will never be completed… as long as there is imagination left in the world.” I am someone who doesn’t like change, but I accept it when it is at Walt Disney World. The recent changes at Disney’s Hollywood Studios make me sad. They took away a Muppets show and are installing the characters into an existing roller coaster. Yes, the Muppets will live on at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, but it isn’t the same.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is in the midst of some major construction projects to create new attractions. In the meantime, they have either closed or demolished old favorites.
The highly recognizable arch has been demolished to make way for the upcoming new The Magic of Disney Imagination area.

Star Wars Launch Bay has been closed. But that felt out of place ever since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened back in May of 2019.

The entire Muppets area, including Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, has been closed, and construction has started on the new “Monstropolis” attractions.

Has your park touring changed because of all the construction? What are you looking forward to when the new attractions and area open up? For me, I enjoyed Disney’s Hollywood Studios when they had the Drew Carey show, or SuperStar Television.
We like to dine at 50’s Prime Time Cafe for the atmosphere, but I hardly hear anyone talk about dining here and the antics anymore. I can’t remember the last time someone talked about dining at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. Where do you like to dine?

I am looking forward to seeing the changes in the park. Walt Disney World can make a believer out of me with new attractions, so I will wait and see before I pass judgment.
‘Til next time, see you in the parks!
