Disney Parks are hopping into the excitement surrounding the upcoming release of Pixar’s Hoppers, which arrives in theaters on Friday, March 6. Guests visiting both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will find a variety of themed activities, character experiences, and merchandise inspired by the new Disney and Pixar adventure.
At Disney California Adventure Park, guests can enter the world of Hoppers through a new interactive experience called Mabel’s Seek & Find. This activity is located along the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and invites visitors to pick up a keepsake map filled with challenges scattered throughout the trail.

As guests explore and complete each task, they work toward unlocking the final reward: a Hoppers-themed sticker that features characters from the film such as King George, Ellen Bear, Insect Queen, or the already fan-favorite Tom Lizard.
The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is also home to several additional Hoppers-inspired offerings throughout the year, including a new drawing experience at Animation Academy inside the Disney Animation Building. Artists of all ages can learn step-by-step how to draw characters from the film – including Mabel, Tom Lizard, or King George – during sessions held roughly every 30 minutes throughout the day. No reservations are required.
Guests can also capture themed photos with new Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots available for a limited time near Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and the Hyperion Theater. These surprise images digitally add characters from Hoppers into guest photos.
Meanwhile, over at the Pixar Place Hotel, a special temporary gallery on the second-floor lobby showcases original concept art, sketches, and character maquettes from the film. The display offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the creative development of characters like Mabel, Grandma Tanaka, and Beaver Jerry.
The celebration extends beyond California. At EPCOT, guests visiting the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival can spot limited-time character flats inspired by Hoppers near The Land Pavilion in the festival’s “wildlife crossing” area.

Fans visiting Disney Springs can also catch the movie at the AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theatre beginning opening weekend, complete with themed backdrops perfect for snapping photos before or after the show.

Disney is also tying the film’s message to real-world conservation efforts. Through the Disney Conservation Fund and a partnership with Jane Goodall Institute’s youth program Roots & Shoots, Disney is encouraging young people to “hop in” and help make a difference in their communities. Selected participants in the initiative may even be invited to a special celebration at Walt Disney World in fall 2026.

Of course, celebrating the launch of a Disney movie wouldn’t really be complete without new merchandise. Fans can find Hoppers-inspired apparel, books, plush toys, and collectibles at Disney Store locations and online.

Highlights include character T-shirts featuring Mabel and Tom Lizard, the Hoppers Figure Set, Funko Pop! collectibles, and several books exploring the world of the film – including The Art of Hoppers.

With interactive park experiences, conservation initiatives, and new merchandise, Disney is bringing the spirit of Hoppers to life across its parks and beyond.
