If you’re a fan of pressed pennies and the Muppets, there’s a limited-time find you won’t want to skip near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
While Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is currently closed as Disney prepares for its Muppets reimagining, the courtyard remains open. (It’s still the pathway to the nearby theater showing Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, so you can continue to pass through the area.)

As you walk under the freshly painted upside-down limo marquee, keep to the left side of the courtyard near the face painting kiosk. That’s where you’ll find two pressed penny machines, each offering four designs featuring Muppets characters in construction gear.

Each Muppet is wearing a hard hat with construction barricade tape running across each design, playing into an in-between moment as the Muppets make their way back into the park.

The first machine includes Gonzo, Sam Eagle, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, and Beaker. The second features Fozzie Bear, Bean Bunny, Sweetums, and the Swedish Chef. Each of the designs include “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets” with “Under Construction 2026” across barricade tape.

You can pick up all four designs for $4 from each machine when paying by card or mobile wallet (tap to pay), or $1 per penny when using cash. You don’t have to worry about toting around your shiniest of pennies for these machines anymore… but you do still get to crank the machine for each design – which is half the fun!
These designs fill an odd gap for the Muppets at the park, following the closure of Muppet*Vision 3D in June 2025, and ahead of their return in the reimagined coaster, which is expected to open later this summer. With no exact opening date announced yet, this could be a short window to grab these!

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World soon, it’s worth making the detour past the G-Force Records gates to check them out and maybe snag a set while they’re still around! And hey, perhaps this is a hint we’ll see Bean Bunny pop up again when the ride reopens…
