Fall at Walt Disney World does not come with cool temperatures, but it still shows up in all the right ways. The moment you walk into Magic Kingdom and see pumpkins lining Main Street, you know the season has officially started.

There are Mickey pumpkins, wreaths, and garlands across the parks and resorts, but Magic Kingdom is where it really stands out.

Disney always leans into fall décor in a big way.

The colors, the details, and the newer Dumbo pumpkins in Storybook Circus all add up.

Over at Disney Springs, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is bringing back its Halloween overlay again this year. If you’ve never stopped in during the fall, it’s absolutely worth doing. The space gets a full seasonal makeover, and the themed drinks and food are half the fun. Disney says the menu will be released at a later date.

As we learned earlier today, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs from August 27 through November 21, 2026. It’s one of the easiest ways to spend a full day wandering and trying new eats and sips.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a themed scavenger hunt that has guests searching for hidden pumpkins around the park. It’s low-key, but families love it, and you can collect a fun little prize once you’re finished.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios offers one of our favorite seasonal dining events at Hollywood & Vine. Minnie’s Halloween Dine gives guests something extra with a “spooktacular Halloween feast.”
Animal Kingdom is a little quieter, but that’s part of the appeal. It’s a good place to slow down, walk the trails, and just take a break.
Of course, the big draw is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This year, it runs on select nights from August 7 through October 31, with trick-or-treating, characters, and entertainment you won’t see during the day. Tickets go on sale May 5 for select resort guests and May 12 for everyone else, and they don’t last long.
There are also a few deals during this time, including discounted tickets and room offers for late summer and early fall.
Fall at Disney World really is one of the best seasons to visit. It’s a lovely blend of decorations, special events, and small details that make the parks feel a little different. If you like Halloween or just want a fun time to visit, this is a good window to consider.
