It may only be August but fall is out in full-force at Disney Springs with plenty of Halloween merchandise, festive treats, and the return of Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar. If you’re heading to Walt Disney World anytime now through October, Disney Springs is a must to enjoy fall in the most over-the-top way possible. Outside of the Magic Kingdom’s pumpkin decorations and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney Springs is where you’ll be completely immersed in fall fun… even if it’s 90 degrees and sunny.

You can always find entertainment at Disney Springs like live music, a mobile piano player, stilt walkers, and dance parties. Fall is no exception with adorable roller-skating scarecrows and pumpkin stilt walkers.
Halloween Shopping
If you’re ever at Disney Springs when it opens, you won’t want to miss the opening ceremony outside of World of Disney. This extra magical moment selects one guest from the crowd to use a very special key to officially open the store. Unique for the fall season, the ceremony is on theme with the Haunted Mansion with the store opening to the magic words “happy haunts materialize”. The pumpkin orange carpet is then rolled out for all guests to come in and shop at the world’s largest Disney Store.
World of Disney has a TON of Halloween merchandise ranging from classic Mickey Pumpkins to pastel Mickey ghosts, Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney Villains, and Haunted Mansion. There’s so much new this year and a little bit of something for everyone – you’re sure to bring something home from your shopping spree!
Another great spot for finding unique Disney souvenirs is the Marketplace Co-Op and Disney Style. These two shops are connected to each other and are a great spot to find clothes, accessories, home goods, and a ton of fun Disney blind-boxes. New collections include Silly Symphony’s “The Skeleton Dance”, Disney animals in their Halloween costumes, and The Nightmare Before Christmas bag charms and mystery figures.
Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar
Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar is returning for a second year, combining highly-themed cocktails and small plates plus the best vintage-style Halloween decorations you’ve ever seen. Since Jock Lindsey’s is themed to the Indiana Jones character, all the decorations and music are sourced to be somewhere around the 1940’s. The menu is mostly new this year, so you’ll definitely want to try a few things!
Seating is first-come, first-served and the decorations do continue outside on the patio. You can enjoy the Halloween Hangar Bar now through November 9th.
Here’s a look at some of our favorites from the menu!
Skull and Sour – Jameson Irish Whiskey, Bols Peach Schnapps Liqueur, lemon juice, and pumpkin spice syrup topped with green apple juice-filled pears and gummy strands – $19
This a fun and perfectly delicious whiskey sour. The pumpkin spice syrup is subtle but adds a nice complexity of cinnamon and nutmeg. Even without the addition of the candy garnish, this is a well-balance whiskey sour I would order again.
Midnight Relic – Tito’s Handmade Vodka, ube syrup, cream of coconut, lemon juice, and edible glitter – $18
The cream of coconut is delightful and isn’t overly sweet while still going down easy. This beautiful martini is perfect for fans of vodka and feels straight out of the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
Candelabra Eggs – deviled egg with crispy fried chicken, sweet-and-tart pepper source, and Aji Amarillo custard – $18
The Candelabra Eggs get an A+ for both presentation and taste! The deviled egg filling is creamy and flavorful, plus the sweet and spicy chicken adds a nice texture or would be great even on its own. The eggs are died with beet juice, so need to be too scared of these spooky eggs. Make the Candelabra Eggs a Disney Springs must-do!
Bone Kebabs – pork and beef bone kebabs, prosciutto, creamy tomato sauce, and Kataifi straws – $17
The bone kebabs look eerily like flesh but trust us, they’re delicious! The plastic skewers are merely a serving vessel and we found the kebabs easier to eat without the “bone”. Think of the kebabs as a pork and beef Kafta with the crispy prosciutto adding a nice level of saltiness. The creamy tomato sauce is hearty and perfectly paired.
Alien Invader Sliders – crispy Nashville hot fried chicken, sliced provolone, dill pickle slices, served on a cheddar-chive biscuit, and garnished with queen olive skewers – $17
The sliders are a returning item and for good reason! The fried chicken thighs are packed with flavor and the garlicky, cheesy biscuit is absolutely to-die for. The sliders are also supper filling, making it one of the best values on the menu if you’re making a dinner time visit. The sliders coming on a silver “UFO'” this year – because how else would aliens get to Disney Springs??
The Ganachery
Haunted Mansion Portrait Bars – four chocolate ganache bars with flavors of chipotle, raspberry, salted caramel, and passion fruit – $18
The packaging and details of these bars is so beautiful and would be a lovely souvenir to bring home and enjoy or give to a friend. The flavors offer a nice variation and there is no chocolate quite like The Ganachery.
Amorette’s Patisserie
Halloween Cookie – chocolate chip Cookie with pretzel pieces, toffee, milk and dark chocolate chips, and chocolate coin – $5
Disney Springs has plenty of cookie options but this is one from Amorette’s is a total winner! The combination of the salty pretzel pieces, crunch of the toffee, and the overabundance of chocolate is absolutely divine. The center of the cookie is also the kind of gooey you expect from cookies straight out of the oven. Considering this massive cookie is $5, this is maybe the best treat deal (and the richest) in all of Disney World.
Goofy’s Candy Co.
Goofy’s Candy Co. now offers the same make-your-own candied popcorn as The Confectionary at the Magic Kingdom! Beginning August 14th you can get a special “Halloween Mix” that candy corn, marshmallows, chocolate drizzle, and sprinkles for $17.99. This is a great shareable, sweet and salty treat perfect for taking back to your resort to snack on throughout your vacation!
