Disney’s first fiscal quarter of 2015 sees 19% increase in profits

The Walt Disney Co. has released their financial report for the first fiscal quarter of 2015, which ended December 27. Revenue was up 9% to $13.4 billion and net income was up 19% to $2.2 billion. SeaWorld Orlando to host Christian music festival

SeaWorld Orlando has announced a new Praise Wave Christian music festival, to be held on February 14, 21 and 28. Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando hold similar events in the fall.   On February 14th, Lecrae and Colton Dixon will perform. Lecrae is a Grammy-award winner whose current album, Anomaly, debuted at #1 on SeaWorld Orlando to host Christian music festival

Footage taken from the air above the Magic Kingdom by a consumer drone recently showed up on YouTube. The owner, with screen name “YOUR FLYING CAMERA,” claims to be a 16-year-old Canadian vacationer. Princess Elena of Avalor will debut on Disney Junior next year as the brand’s first Latina princess.
