Disney pulls Starbucks Epcot “Monorail Purple” mug from shelves

Walt Disney World is pulling one of its newly-released Starbucks mugs from the shelves. The mugs, part of Starbucks’ “You Are Here” collection, feature various scenes from the theme parks. U.S. News & World Report names Four Seasons best hotel in Orlando

U.S. News & World Report has named the Four Seasons Orlando Resort the best hotel in Orlando. The hotel is not Disney-owned, but is actually located on Disney property and opened its doors August 3, 2014. TripAdvisor released the list of winners in its 13th annual Travelers’ Choice awards; five of the Walt Disney World resorts made this year’s list. Two deaths reported in Central Florida theme park injury report

The central Florida theme parks have turned in their quarterly injury reports and in them, Walt Disney World reported two deaths after guests went on rides. One of the deaths was a 22-year-old woman with a pre-existing condition who rode it’s a small world on Christmas Day. Disney exec Erin Wallace leaves to become COO of Learning Care Group

Erin Wallace, a senior Disney Executive, is leaving the company for a job in Michigan as chief operating officer of Learning Care Group, a for-profit early education and childcare provider. Wallace has been with Disney for 30 years, beginning as an industrial engineer.
