SeaWorld’s Aquatica to host Special Olympics’ Polar Plunge

Curbside valet program begins at Orlando International Airport

Passengers flying out of Orlando International Airport can now take advantage of a new curbside valet program. Passengers flying on Alaska Air, JetBlue, American Airlines, United and U.S. Airways can also do remote check-in, dropping off their luggage and getting their boarding passes right from the curb. Epcot files paperwork for new Frozen meet and greet area in Norway Pavilion

Walt Disney World has filed papers with the South Florida Water Management District for a 13,000-square-foot “Epcot Frozen Meet and Greet” building. Disney’s Animal Kingdom named one of the “worst zoos for elephants”

A group called “In Defense of Animals” has named Disney’s Animal Kingdom number 10 on their 2014 list of “10 Worst Zoos for Elephants.” The California nonprofit group released their list on Monday, January 12, and cited the death of Moyo, a pregnant Animal Kingdom elephant, as the reason for putting Disney on the list. Walt Disney World removing prize-awarding video games from arcades

Walt Disney World’s hotels will no longer give out prizes in their arcades. In 2013, legislation was passed banning Internet cafes, and it appears that Disney is playing it safe and removing claw machines and any games that give out points to redeem for toys and candy.
